The Empowering Communities Initiative, in partnership with ECDC Houston Multicultural Center have joined forces to help immigrants and refugees in Greater Houston become active, informed participants in civic life. Through naturalization support, language access, and civic education, we empower communities to thrive and contribute fully to society.

We keep communities informed and engaged through workshops, translated materials, and outreach campaigns. By sharing critical updates on policies and civic rights, we empower immigrants to participate in democracy with confidence and clarity.

Civic Engagement & Policy Education

With translation and interpretation in more than 80 languages, we break down communication barriers for immigrant and refugee communities. These services ensure that everyone has equal access to education, healthcare, legal aid, and public resources.

We provide direct assistance to lawful permanent residents applying for U.S. citizenship. Our workshops and one-on-one support help families navigate the application process, overcome barriers, and achieve their dream of becoming citizens.
